After the Tour de France ended less than a week ago, it’s now time for another great race that delivers spectacular action every year thanks to its brutal climbs: the Clásica San Sebastián.

The Spanish race will start at 11:27 AM, with the finish expected around 4:45 PM.

The route (shown in the photo above) is 211 km long, slightly shorter than last year due to the removal of a climb. The decisive ramp could be the final one, ending 8 km from the finish line, measuring 2.1 km with an average gradient of 10.1%.

There are several favorites for the win: both fresh riders like Ayuso, Del Toro, Powless, Benoot, Ciccone, Pellizzari, Scaroni, and Tiberi, who didn’t take part in the Tour, and others such as Roglic, Onley, Johannessen, and Simmons, who are coming off three intense weeks of racing. Last year’s winner was Marc Hirschi, but a repeat seems unlikely given he was never a key player during the Tour.
