The full program of the World Championship week in Rwanda
Only a few days remain before the Cycling World Championships begin in Rwanda, in Kigali to be precise. Fewer nations and athletes than usual will be present, due to the extremely high travel costs that not all federations have decided to bear.
The rainbow week will kick off with the elite time trials on Sunday, September 21, followed by the Under-23 events on Monday and the juniors on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it will be the turn of the mixed team relay, while on Thursday the road races begin. The women’s Under-23 race will open the program, while Friday will feature both the junior men’s and Under-23 men’s races.
