Who won the Andorra Cycling Masters, how much did the four participants earn, and where can the documentary be watched?
All the information on how today’s unprecedented “exhibition” went
The first-ever Andorra Cycling Masters took place today — a sort of exhibition that pitted Pogacar, Vingegaard, Del Toro, and Roglic against each other, first in an uphill time trial and then in a roughly 20-kilometer criterium.
Primoz Roglic won the first race. According to @lucasaganronald, these were the climb times:
Roglic — 25:39
Pogacar — 25:59
Del Toro — 28:05
Vingegaard — 29:24
In the following criterium, the finishing order was:
1. Isaac del Toro
2. Primoz Roglič
3. Tadej Pogačar
4. Jonas Vingegaard
Each rider reportedly received a €150,000 appearance fee, not only for taking part in the two races but also for contributing to the making of a documentary featuring them, filmed since their arrival in Andorra — not just today.
According to some sources, there are still ongoing discussions between the organizers and various streaming platforms interested in the documentary. Other sources, however, claim that the program is expected to be released on Netflix.
