Processed the man tackled by the police at the Tour: here are the consequences of the act
Only a few days have passed, but the young man who invaded the Tour the other day has already been tried
He was immediately tried through a fast-track procedure, the young man who the other day jumped over the barriers with his bike and started riding before being stopped at the finish line—rightfully and abruptly—by the police. The Frenchman had already been involved in similar intrusions at other sporting events, but the consequences of those previous incidents are unknown.

This time, the 31-year-old was sentenced to an 8‑month suspended prison term for “entering a sporting competition area and disrupting the race, refusing to comply with the rules, and using violence against a person in a position of public authority.”
In addition, he received a 5‑year ban, which will prevent him from entering any sports venue in France for the next five years.
Lastly, he will also have to pay €500 in compensation to the police officer who stopped him at the finish line and was slightly injured.
