Israel-Premier Tech changes its “skin” but not its name: here is the new jersey and the statement

After the many rumors about a name change, which in theory would not come before 2026, or about a withdrawal from the Vuelta a España given the numerous protests, Israel-Premier Tech has responded with its first concrete move.

The Israeli team has decided to change its kit, thus aligning the riders’ uniforms with the team cars, which had already removed the name “Israel.”

Below is the team’s statement:

“In the interest of prioritizing the safety of our riders and the entire peloton, in light of the dangerous nature of some protests at @lavuelta, Israel – Premier Tech has issued riders with team monogram-branded kit for the remainder of the race. The team name remains Israel – Premier Tech but the monogram kit now aligns with the branding decisions we have previously adopted for our vehicles and casual clothing”.
