Isaac Del Toro is set to race again as soon as tomorrow — and this weekend — and it’s not just any race

After an incredible autumn campaign, Isaac Del Toro has decided not to stop and to try closing the season with two more victories. The Mexican rider will test himself in the national championships, taking place between tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, and Saturday, October 25.

His goal? To win both national titles and earn the right to wear the jersey of his home country, Mexico — a nation with which he has had several difficulties in the past — during the next cycling season. Another strong motivation to compete is the location of the races: Ensenada, his hometown. Here’s what Isaac Del Toro said ahead of the events:

“Racing at the Mexican Championships in my hometown this weekend is really special for me — it’s the perfect way to end the season, surrounded by family, friends, and fans who have supported me since the very beginning. I’m proud to race with the colors of UAE Team Emirates XRG here, finally on home roads, and I’ll give everything to finish the year on a high note. These will be truly special days, and I hope the whole Mexican cycling community can take part and enjoy this cycling-filled weekend.”
