Finding a team for the following season in the cycling world seems to be becoming increasingly difficult. This is shown by the many riders who end up without a contract every year and by the countless posts and appeals on social media that cyclists are forced to make at this time of year (or even earlier, as the De Bondt case at the Giro d’Italia teaches us).

This time, however, the social media appeal doesn’t come from the rider looking for a team, but from his wife, Charlotte Broughton (rider for Torelli), on behalf of her husband Johannes Kulset, currently racing for Uno-X Mobility. The Norwegian might not be confirmed by his current team—or perhaps he’s aiming for a step up, we don’t know—but in any case, he is looking for a new team willing to put trust in him.

In his career, he has already raced the Tour de France (in 2024) and Liège-Bastogne-Liège (also in 2024). This year, he has achieved several top 10 overall finishes in stage races such as the Tour of Slovenia, the Vuelta a Burgos, O Gran Camiño, and the AlUla Tour. Significant results that suggest he deserves to remain in the professional ranks.

Here’s his wife’s social media appeal (with presentation):

Hi cycling Twitter! My husband @MagnusKulset is looking for a team from 2026 onwards. He’s 25 years old, weighs 56 kg, speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Italian, and here are his numbers.”
