The news was reported by Ilenia Lazzaro, cyclocross and women’s cycling commentator for Eurosport among other roles, in a new episode of Una voce in fuga, the Bicisport podcast (here is the link to listen to it). According to what the journalist said, some sources told her that the Belgian might be at the start of the Italian World Cup round in Terralba, on December 7th in Sardinia.

However, there is still no official confirmation—neither about the Belgian’s race program nor about a potential participation in the Italian World Cup round. For now, all we can do is hope, given the media impact his presence would have on the Italian cyclocross movement.
