Pogačar’s possible 2026 calendar: from his debut date to his upcoming targets

About a month and a half is left before the 2026 road season starts again with the Tour Down Under. In the meantime, several rumours are already circulating about the possible schedules — at least for the early part of the season — of cycling’s biggest stars. So let’s take a look at Pogačar’s possible 2026 calendar.

According to various media, the Slovenian could have started his season right at the Australian race, which is still missing from his palmarès. However, this rumour has already been denied and, in fact, according to Ciro Scognamiglio, Pogačar should begin his season at Strade Bianche in Italy on March 7.

This is still not certain, just as his participation in Paris–Roubaix is uncertain. Tadej has already stated that he would like to try to win it, and that he would like to race all five Monuments again, but it remains to be seen what he and the team will ultimately decide.

There are, however, no doubts about his participation in the 2026 Tour de France first, then the World Championships in Canada, and the European Championships the following week, considering they will be held in his home country of Slovenia.
