Wout Van Aert will race in cyclocross this year, although for now he has not yet announced when he will make his debut or which races he will take part in. In recent days, however, the first hypotheses have emerged about when his cyclocross season might begin.
According to HLN, it will definitely be after the training camp in Spain, from December 8 to 16, so everything suggests a debut between December 20 and 22 in Antwerp, Koksijde, or Hofstade. It is still unknown how his cyclocross season will continue and whether he will participate in the World Championships.
In the meantime, the Belgian tested the team’s new equipment on the Paris–Roubaix course, despite the cold and rain, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, together with teammates Christophe Laporte, Timo Kielich, and Aldo Taillieu. Among the innovations, there is also a new tire pressure system.
