What are Tiberi’s plans for 2026? Here is which Grand Tour he will race
The Italian climber could make his debut in the only Grand Tour he has not yet raced
After two Giro d’Italia appearances and four Vuelta a España participations, the time may have come for Antonio Tiberi to test himself at the Tour de France. Nothing is certain yet, but the first indications for 2026 point in that direction.
This was reported by Ciro Scognamiglio of La Gazzetta dello Sport, who states that the Italian is expected to start the French race—apparently well suited to his characteristics—alongside Lenny Martinez, with whom he would share leadership duties.
The rest of his season’s schedule still needs to be defined, bearing in mind that Tiberi has never before been selected for the Tour and therefore has never followed a race calendar specifically designed to reach top form in July.
