Who is the man who shot at the cyclists of SC Padovani (and what he was reported for)

A few hours after the social (and formal) complaint filed by SC Padovani regarding the aggression suffered by their riders during training, law enforcement reportedly already identified the person responsible. He is a 25-year-old from the province of Verona with no prior criminal record. 

The man was reported for “aggravated threats, illegal carrying of weapons or objects capable of causing harm, and dangerous discharge” after firing a blank gun from which he had allegedly removed the red cap. The Carabinieri of the local unit identified him thanks to images provided by the team showing the car with a non-functioning headlight, a detail that helped in recognizing the vehicle.

Inside the man’s car, officers also found the weapon used—a pistol kept under the trunk floor of the vehicle, as reported by Spaziociclismo.
