“Even if Pogacar rides an incredible race, Roubaix remains a very specific event. Last year Tadej was extremely strong, but that doesn’t change my opinion: sometimes we tend to overrate him. In my view, he will never be the favorite at Roubaix. If Van der Poel approaches a corner and the situation is ‘either I crash or I win,’ he will always choose to take that extra risk.”
