Wout Van Aert’s race program: when he will make his debut and which races he will ride (UPDATED)
Wout Van Aert’s race program was originally supposed to start this weekend, specifically in Belgium at the Omloop Nieuwsblad. However, the Belgian has fallen ill and will therefore miss his first road race of the 2026 season.
Unless there are further changes, Van Aert is expected to make his road debut next week at the Ename Samyn Classic, scheduled for March 3. He will then travel to Italy to compete in Strade Bianche, Tirreno-Adriatico, and finally Milano-Sanremo.
Don’t miss: Mathieu Van der Poel’s race program: when he will debut and which races he will ride.
Unlike Van der Poel, he will not take part in the E3 Saxo Classic or In Flanders Field. However, the Belgian will not skip the two cobbled Monuments this spring: both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix are included in his schedule, just like last season.
Below is the full table with the dates of Wout Van Aert’s race program for this spring.
