Paul Seixas’ race schedule: when he will make his debut and which races he will compete in

Paul Seixas’ race schedule features a significant step up in level after the first two races of this season (both of which went extremely well). The 19-year-old French talent is coming off a second place in the overall classification at the Volta ao Algarve (behind an excellent Ayuso) and an impressive long-range victory at the Faun-Ardèche Classic.

Now he is set to make his debut at Strade Bianche, where he could be one of the big surprises given his current form, followed by (unless there are changes in plans) a month of work ahead of Itzulia Basque Country first, and then La Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Here are Paul Seixas’ words about his calendar back in December:

“We built the start of the season around races where I can really express myself and aim for victory. The idea is to build momentum in the first two races before focusing exclusively on WorldTour events. My goals are clear: to raise my arms in victory and confirm my progress.”
