The watts of Pogacar and Seixas in Strade Bianche: Seixas almost “like” Pogacar in 2025
Tadej Pogacar’s victory was as crazy and magnificent as always. An attack from about 80 kilometers out, just like in recent years, which more or less allows us to compare performances across different editions. Let’s take a look at the watts of Pogacar and Seixas in Strade Bianche 2026.
Since launching his attack, the Slovenian maintained an average of 380 watts according to data from Velon.cc (which is also the source for the following figures). This is a clear improvement compared to the 2024 and 2025 editions, when he held an average of 340 watts (so we are talking about an increase of over 10%).
More specifically, during his attack on the “Sante Marie” gravel sector he sustained an average of 600 watts for 1 minute and 32 seconds on a 600-meter stretch with an average gradient of 10.2%.
As for Seixas, comparisons with previous editions of Strade Bianche are not possible since this was his first time starting the “sixth Monument.” However, the French rider confirmed the very high expectations by finishing second with an average of 330 watts over the final 80 km of the race — not far from Pogacar’s 340 watts in 2025 and 2024.
During the Slovenian’s attack, Seixas averaged 580 watts compared to the 570 watts of Isaac Del Toro, who stayed very close to the French rider until the Santa Caterina ramp, where he eventually dropped.
These numbers, together with the record final average speed of 42.7 km/h (compared to the 40.7 km/h record set in 2025), confirm Strade Bianche 2026 as one of the toughest editions ever. Pogacar had to push himself to win — even if without real difficulty — and behind him the 19-year-old Seixas delivered a truly monstrous performance.
