Yesterday, the award ceremony for the 2025 Vélo d’Or and connected prizes—organized by Vélo Magazine—took place. The main award, the Vélo d’Or itself, was won by Tadej Pogačar among the men and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot among the women.

The Eddy Merckx Trophy, dedicated to the best riders in the Classics, also went to Tadej Pogačar (and by the way, don’t miss his remarks about 2026) on the men’s side, while Lorena Wiebes won in the women’s category. You can find all the other awards below. It is worth highlighting that Matteo Trentin received the Gino Mäder Prize thanks to his involvement in fundraising efforts to support children in need.
